Windows Media Player is a versatile application. It plays music, videos, burns and rips audio CDs, plays DVDs and synchronizes your PC with your iPod. And those are just its most visible features.
It is built right into Windows, so the only reason to download it is to upgrade to the latest version.
You run Windows Media Player by finding it in your Start Menu.
